Hyderabad, which has won two consecutive awards from the Central Government for being the most clean and green city, is now going to see another massive drive to increase the green cover. Under a Rs 100 crore project, to be implemented with the assistance from government of Netherlands, several millions saplings will be planted over an area of 33550 hectares in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, nine surrounding municipalities and several villages of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medak districts which fall in the area of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA).
