London: The French edition of fashion magazine, "Vogue" is all set to get its first transgender face for its March cover. In a first for the hi-end lifestyle magazine, Brazilian catwalk star, Valentina Sampaio will be its cover girl, reported BBC.

In her column, the editor of Vogue Paris, Emmanuelle Alt wrote the model has "beauty striking enough to stun on the cover of Vogue". Alt also said Valentina is the "absolute equal" of other iconic women in fashion.


"Apart from one small detail, Valentina, the femme fatale, was born a boy," she added. The model, who has more than 32,000 followers on Instagram, has shared the cover on social media.
