BJP releases fourth list for Gujarat assembly elections with just one name

AHMEDABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released the fourth list for Gujarat polls with just one name. Piyushbhai Desai has been named as the party's candidate from Navsari.

The party had on Monday released the third list of 28 candidates for the upcoming polls.

Voting for the two-phase assembly elections in the state will be held on December 9 and 14 and counting will be held on December 18.

BJP has already announced 135 candidates for the polls. In the first list, the BJP announced names of 70 candidates, second list had 36 candidates, and names of 28 candidates were announced in the third list.
