Rohtak: The Haryana Police on Friday arrested Dera Sacha Sauda follower Ramchandra on charges of instigating violence in Panchkula on the day of Gurmeet Ram Rahim's conviction.

At least 38 people were killed and scores were left injured after violence and arson broke out on August 25 in Panchkula following the conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a 2002 rape case by Special CBI Court. 


The mob, consisting of Dera followers, set scores of vehicles, including police and fire brigades, on fire.


Meanwhile, the Haryana Police have intensified the manhunt to nab Ram Rahim's adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan, who continues to be on the run over past few weeks.
