Two die of swine flu in a week in Nadia
While one woman died yesterday, a child died a week back and both were victims of H1N1 virus, Nadia district Chief Medical of Health, Tapas Roy, said today.
Krishnagar: Two persons of Nadia district died of swine flue within a week, following which the Kalyani Municipality has decided check mosquito menace and drive away pigs.

A 28-year-old homemaker of Kalyani, had fallen ill on April 16 and she died a private hospital in Kolkata. A child of Taherpur, also in the district, died in the same hospital a week back, Roy said.
He said that the National Urban Health Mission team visited Kalyani.
Kalyani Municipality chairman Sushil Talukdar said he had ordered to use of bleaching powders and fogger and clean drains to check mosquito menace.
"We will also start to drive away pigs from Kalyani town from tomorrow," he said.
