US woman delivers `Big Baby`, gives birth to 13-pound girl through C-section

New Delhi: A woman in Florida, US, has delivered a baby girl larger-than-expected size.

The mother gave birth to baby girl weighing an unbelievable 13 pounds, which came as a clear surprise for her and others.

As per a media report, Christine Corbitt, the mother-of-two delivered the newborn through C-section.

In this rarest of the rare cases, the woman had earlier delivered nine and 10-pound babies but was surprised when her newborn girl turned out to be heavier than expected that even the doctors said that it was like as if a toddler was born.

The doctors say that the baby is born healthy without complications and so is Christine whose blood sugar levels were checked to see if she was stable.
