Experts believe that sales and support are the key pillars of business success. However, with many companies being over-indexed on product and under-indexed on Sales and Support, reps and agents are found in a state where they are overworked and underappreciated. In such a scenario, a firm needs tools and expertise to avoid the burnout problem. Losing the sales staff - that too because of mismanagement - is the last thing a company wants to happen to it.

Enterpreneur Gaurav Sharma's Start-Up - SaaS Labs - is working on a unique model to make the automation accessible for the business survival. The firm was ranked the fifth fastest growing company by Deloitte in 2019.

When distilled down, Sharma found that major challenges that caused such burnout are:

-Ramping and coaching

-Unlocking peak performance

-Multiplying productivity

“By 2015, I had seen first-hand the challenges of sales and support teams across businesses. We realized that 67% of sales and workforce are close to burnout. While large corporations use high-end tools to automate processes, SMEs keep struggling due to lack of resources and try to solve it by throwing man hours at the problem.” Sharma comments.

Sharma finally launched his company SaaS Labs in 2016 to provide a stack of tools to help sales and support teams tackle daily challenges with automation. Sharma and his team launched several SaaS tools aimed at helping reps do better - JustCall&Helpwise.

JustCall is a cloud phone system purpose-built to boost rep productivity. Businesses using JustCall get phone numbers in 70+ countries, run SMS and calling campaigns, and get native integration with 100+ CRMs among other features. Helpwise, on the other hand, is a shared inbox tool that helps collaboration between teams and customer service.

Both products became runaway hits, with JustCall emerging as a category leader in the Cloud Contact Center space and Helpwise earning a name for itself as a ‘Zen Inbox’ for CX focussed teams.

In 2018, SaaS Labs launched another tool called Callroot for inbound call tracking that enables seamless marketing campaigns. The tool helps businesses to track multiple call sources and keywords through dynamic number insertion on their websites.
