UP Assembly Election results 2022: Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Amit Singh Chauhan has won the Bikapur assembly seat with a total of 1,07,268 votes, defeating Samajwadi Party's (SP) Firoz Khan. Amit Singh Chauhan won by a margin of 5,560 votes.

The Bharatiya Janata Party fielded Amit Singh, the son of sitting BJP MLA Shobha Singh Chauhan, from the Bikapur assembly seat. Akhilesh Yadav's party gave a ticket to Firoz Khan 'Gabbar' as earlier declared Samajwadi Party candidate Anup Singh contested as an independent candidate.


Sunil Pathak, a former Congress leader, contested on a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket.

In the 2017 UP assembly polls, BJP's Shobha Singh Chauhan had won the Bikapur seat by 94,074 votes. She had received around 42.6% of the total polled votes.


SP's Anand Sen stood second with 67,422 votes while BSP's Jitendra Singh was third with 49,690 votes.
