A Hyderabad-bound GoAir flight from Patna returned after take off on Wednesday due to a technical glitch in the aircraft. The flight landed safely at the Patna Airport in Bihar with 146 passengers on board.

Subsequently, all the passengers were transferred to an alternative aircraft that reached its destination Hyderabad in Telangana, according to news agency ANI.


GoAir Statement, too, issued a statement on the incident. "GoAir flight G8 516 from Patna to Hyderabad did a air turn back due to a technical glitch. After turn back, the flight landed safely at Jay Prakash Narayan airport in Patna with 146 passengers on board. Subsequently, all passengers were transferred to an alternate aircraft that reached the destination. At GoAir, safety of our passengers and crew is of paramount importance and the airline sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused to its passengers," the statement by a GoAir spokesperson read.
