India and the US on Monday reiterated their commitment to cooperate in the fight against international terrorism even as the two sides agreed to boost economic cooperation following the first ever meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump.

Washington: President Donald Trump and his wife Melania on Monday accorded a warm red carpet welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House. President Trump and PM Modi called on Pakistan to ensure that its territory is not used to launch terrorist attacks on other countries, the White House said in a statement.
