MANILA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met US President Donald Trump for bilateral talks on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit.

Earlier, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and his wife Honeylet Avancena welcomed PM Modi at the opening ceremony of the summit in Manila.


Leaders of 10 Asean countries and six of its dialogue partners which includes Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand, will meet for their first Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) leaders` meeting on Tuesday.
