Former General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Indian Army's Eastern Command, Lieutenant General Abhay Krishna (Retd) was on Saturday appointed as Chief Commissioner, West Bengal Right to Public Service Commission.


"The Governor is hereby pleased to appoint Lt Gen. Abhay Krishna, (Retd.) as Chief Commissioner, West Bengal Right to Public Service Commission, with effect from the date on which he enters office," read an official order.
