Srinagar: The headless body of a man, who was missing for three days, was recovered from the Jhelum river in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday, the police said.

The body was recovered from the river at Gulshanabad in Hajin area of the district, a police official said.


He said the man has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Parray and was a labourer.


He was missing for three days, the official said, adding a case has been registered and investigations are underway.
