Pakistan violates ceasefire violation in J&K`s Poonch, Indian Army retaliates

Pakistani army shelled the forward areas of Shahpur-Kerni sectors of Poonch in the wee hours on Thursday.

New Delhi: In yet another ceasefire violation, the Pakistan army resorted to firing and mortar shelling on forward posts along the Line of Control in Shahpur and Kerni sectors in Poonch on Thursday. 

The firing continued for two hours from 4.30am-6:30 am, a source said, adding that the Indian Army effectively retaliated to the firing from the Pakistan side.
