Bomb hurled at CPI(M) rally in Kerala`s Kannur, one injured
A country bomb was hurled at a Communist Party of India (Marxist) rally in Kannur on Sunday night.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A country bomb was hurled at a Communist Party of India (Marxist) rally in Kannur on Sunday night.
A CPI(M) branch secretary was injured in the bomb blast. He was hospitalised to a nearby hospital.
The Left Democratic Front (LDF) led by the CPI-M returned to power in the southern state after the May 2016 assembly elections.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has repeatedly accused the RSS of deliberately trying to create unrest in Kannur district, which has been marred by political violence in the recent months.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also accused the CPI(M)-ruled state for killing its cadre in the state.
