Akbarpur registered 57.87 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 2.97 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1759904 while the total voter turnout is 1018483. While in 2014, the constituency registered 54.90 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1766817 while the total voter's turnout was 969932.

The assembly constituencies that fall under the Akbarpur Lok Sabha Constituency are -  Akbarpur Raniya, Bithoor, Kalyanpur, Maharajpur and Ghatampur (SC).


The voting in this parliamentary constituency took place in the fourth phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls on April 29. The results will be declared on May 23.  


Devendra Singh (Bhole Singh) of BJP had won from this constituency in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. In the 2014 polls, Bhole bagged 481584 votes and defeated Anil Shukla Warsi of the BSP. Warsi got 202587 votes.
