Supaul Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in the eastern state of Bihar and will cast its vote in the 2019 election on April 23.

Supaul registered 65.69 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 2.42 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1688969 while the total voter turnout is 1109509. While in 2014, the constituency registered 63.27 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1525094 while the total voter's turnout was 964949.


Kiran Devi of Bahujan Samaj Party, Dileshwar Kamait of Janata Dal (United), Ranjeet Ranjan of Indian National Congress and Dip Narayan Mandal of Shivsena are some of the prominent names that will contest the Lok Sabha election 2019 from Supaul Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar.



Voting for Lok Sabha election in Bihar will be held in all the seven phases and counting will be held on May 23.

Supaul constituency was formed as part of  delimitation of parliamentary constituencies in 2008. This constituency covers five assembly segments –  Nirmali, Pipra, Supaul, Triveniganj and Chhatapur.


In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Ranjeet Ranjan of the Indian National Congress (INC) – won by getting a margin of over 59 thousand votes. He had defeated Dileshwar Kamait of the Janata Dal (United). Ranjan had secured 332927 votes while Kamait Yadav got 273255 votes.
