Three-storey building collapses in Maharashtra`s Bhiwandi; at least 1 dead

MUMBAI: A portion of a three-storey building collapsed in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi area on Friday.

At least one person was dead and three injured in the building collapse incident.

The building in Navi Vasti locality collapsed at around 9 am, Regional Disaster Management Cell chief Santosh Kadam confirmed.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), fire brigade officials have been rushed to Bhiwandi for the rescue and relief operation.
