New Delhi: Xiaomi on Thursday launched the much-anticipated Redmi Note 4, the successor to it best selling Redmi Note 3.


Launched officially in China during an event, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a full metal unibody powered by a strong 10-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor that clocks up to 2.1GHz.


It is further backed by a huge 4,100 mAh battery.


 


As for memory, it comes in two configuration of 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which is being priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs 9,000) and the 3GB RAM, 64GB internal memory which is priced at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs 12,000).


The memory is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.


It will be available in China starting August 26. However, there are no words on its availability in the international market.


 


As for other features, it comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display with a 1080p resolution and curved 2.5D glass, has a 13MP camera with dual LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie.


It runs on Android 6.0 MarshmallowOS, has a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C for fast data transfers and comes in three colours – Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.
