New Delhi: Looks like Bollywood's powerhouse of talent Ranveer Singh is set to give yet another entertaining performance in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'. The film stars the gorgeous Sara Ali Khan as the female lead and is slated to hit the screens on December 28 this year. With a couple of days left for the release, makers dropped the first song of 'Simmba'. Titled as 'Aankh Marey', the song has been much-loved by people!

The original 'Aankh Maare' was a part of the '1996 hit film 'Tere Mere Sapne' starring Arshad Warsi, Chandrachur Singh, Priya Gill and Simran. The song was sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.


Coming to Simmba, the film has Ranveer playing a police officer on screen for the first time and marks the actor's first with Rohit Shetty. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Rohit Shetty.


'Simmba' is a remake of 2015 Telugu blockbuster film Temper.


This is Ranveer's first film after his marriage with the beautiful and much-talented Deepika Padukone.
