Party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “Big day, fight between two 'D's today- Development & second D-desperation for existence.”

“I am sure for the benefit of Bihar, benefit of the nation, development would be victorious because Bihar has to march ahead,” he added.

The Bihar assembly polls is being dubbed as make or break event for the Narendra Modi aura. A win would certainly put the Prime Minister and party president Amit Shah firmly in the driving seat.

A loss – a win for Mahagathbandhan – would put a lot of stress on the Modi government and the 'intolerance' debate would get even shriller.
