After Manohar Parrikar, another BJP leader says Arvind Kejriwal`s tongue should have been trimmed earlier
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar last week said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal`s tongue may have stretched because of his constant criticism of PM Modi.
Mumbai: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday got a "tongue lashing" from the Aam Aadmi Party over his comments on Arvind Kejriwal's throat surgery with the party. However, that did not deter another Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from commenting on Arvind Kejriwal`s throat surgery.
"Some people have verbal diarrhea and Arvind Kejriwal classifies under that category. So, I don`t think Parrikar has said anything wrong," BJP leader Shaina NC told news agency ANI.
Shaina said that Parrikar has only commented on the trimming of Kejriwal`s tongue, which should have been done long ago.
On Saturday, Parrikar said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's tongue may have stretched because of his constant criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"In Delhi, 36 or 40 people died from dengue and chikungunya. While this is happening, the chief minister is on leave. Sometimes I compare, there (in Delhi) he keeps criticises Modi and here he attacks me. His tongue must have extended in length because of the amount he keeps talking. Now he has cropped it.. trimmed it," Parrikar told a meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party workers in Panaji, Goa.
The Delhi Chief Minister has undergone a surgery in a Bengaluru clinic to re-position his tongue, which doctors have claimed is a reason for his constant coughing.
