New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a warm and humid morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 28.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal for the season.

"The humidity level was recorded at 79 per cent at 8.30 AM which was 8 per cent more than the normal that prevails in the season", said a MeT department official.


"The day is forecast to be partly cloudy with haze and no likelihood of rain", he said.


No rain was recorded in the national capital in the past 24 hours.


"The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius", said the official.


The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius yesterday, while minimum settled at 28.5 degrees Celsius.
