The BJP MP from East Delhi also challenged the Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener to prove charges against him or quit from his today.

Earlier today, Girri had dared Kejriwal for an open debate after the latter accused him of involvement in the murder of MCD employee MM Khan.

Kejriwal, in a letter to Lieutenant Governor on June 15, had mentioned that Girri and former BJP legislator Kanwar Singh’s name was coming up in NDMC  office MM Khan’s murder probe but Jung made sure that both of them were safe. “You did not even let the police question both of them,” read the letter written by Kejriwal.

However, CM Kejriwal's allegation against Delhi L-G Najeeb Jung of shielding two BJP leaders (including Mahesh Girri) in MM Khan's murder was punctured by the Delhi Police with both saffron party leaders getting a clean chit on the matter.
