A forensic report in this regard is expected as early as Monday, India Today reported.

The AAP government's action follows media reports about the doctored videos being circulated on the social media.

Apparently, the video had gone viral on the social media.

Meanwhile, the clamour for the release of Kanhaiya Kumar from police custody continued to grow on Friday as scores of students staged rallies in the capital.

Kanhaiya's bail plea is expected to come up for hearing in the Delhi High Court on Monday.
