New Delhi: Delhiites on Friday woke up to a pleasant morning with the minimum temperature settling at 29.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.

According to a MeT department official, the relative humidity was recorded at 56 percent at 8:30 AM.


The Safdarjung and Lodhi Road observatories recorded rainfall of 0.4 mm and 0.2 mm respectively over the past 24 hours, while traces of rain were recorded at Ridge and Aya Nagar weather stations during the period.


The Palam observatory reported no rainfall during the span concerned, he said.


"Skies are expected to remain partly cloudy today. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius," the official predicted.


Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
