Air pollution in Delhi contains high level of particulate matter (PM2.5) in air, breaching all safety standards.

The air pollution at Anand Vihar, Delhi as per the Real-time Air Quality Index Visual Map was recorded at 582, which is considered hazardous at 10:00am on Sunday, December 13, 2015, while areas in and around Punjabi Bagh recorded a total of 248 at 10.00 am.
