The board's clarification came after several students alleged that many questions and their sequence were similar to a question paper which was leaked on Sunday.

Alleging the question paper leak, a student claimed that he saw the leaked question paper on one of his friend's phone it has many questions similar to the actual question paper.

However, the students' claim was rejected by teachers as well. Many questions in the maths paper were similar to those in the sample papers issued by CBSE before exams and this has confused the students, a report in the Hindustan Times said quoting a school teacher.

Ranchi CBSE coordinator Manohar Lal told that he has spoken to the CBSE regional office in Patna on this issue and the paper was not leaked.
