Registration for the entrance examination for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) programme of the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) ends today.

Earlier, the last date for registration was December 04 but was extended till December 7 later.  


MICA's PGDM -C  programme is equivalent to an MBA course. On the basis of a computer based test, MICAT score, group exercise and personal interview, candidates will be selected.


Eligibility criteria:


The candidate must have a three year's Bachelor's degree or should have passed an examination of equivalent qualification in any discipline from a university recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 


The candidates in the final year of graduation or equivalent are also eligible to apply. Before applying for MICAT, one has to appear for CAT 2015, XAT 2016, or should have a valid GMAT score (acceptable from 2012 onwards).


After a candidate clears the exam, he/she shall be called for an interview, followed by group discussion.

Paper pattern:


The exam consists of 2 parts.


Part 1: Subjective type, which will consist of four descriptive questions on writing arguments, story writing and essay writing.


Part 2: Will be divided into three parts. Part one is a Psychometric Test, Part two is Reasoning and Verbal Ability and Part three will be a General Knowledge section, where applicants will have questions related to latest happenings and news.

The last date of registration is December 7


MICAT call letters will be issued on December 8


MICAT 2016 will be conducted on December 13


Results will be declared in the last week of December.
