New Delhi: Shiv Sena activists on Saturday allegedly disrupted a theatre performance by Pakistani artists at Gurgaon's Open Air Theatre, stating they will continue to do so till ceasefire violations at the border are put an end to, report claimed.
Speaking to ANI, Rituraj, who claimed to be Shiv Sena's media incharge said, “We will continue to do this till Pakistan doesn't stop ceasefire violations at the border.”
On being asked about Ghulam Ali's event which Delhi might be hosting soon, he said, “Let them dare to do it, Kejriwal or Modi govt.”
According to reports, some Pakistani artists were asked to get off stage by protestors claiming to be from Shiv Sena.
"North Foundation Group from Lahore were staging a play 'Baanjh' at the theatre at Sector 29, when 4-5 activists of some Hindu right wing climbed on the stage and started raising slogans 'India Zindabad'," SS Rohilla, Public Relation Officer of the Gurgaon Nagar Nigam was quoted as saying by ANI.
"Our volunteers swung into action immediately and removed them from the stage," he said, adding that the play was resumed after the activists were removed.
