The number of deaths due to the vector-borne disease, however, remained at two, state Director of Health Services Biswaranjan Satpathy told PTI.

Out of the new cases, around 20 were from areas under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) while the rest were from the districts including neighbouring Howrah.

"Different media channels are showing different figures on deaths due to Dengue but we have no report of any death in the last 24 hours," Satpathy said.
