Washington: Some people just can't get enough of cheese! They constantly crave for it and want it. Now, this addiction is confirmed as real as studies reveal that cheese crack is a real thing.

The key to cheese addiction is an ingredient called casein which is found in cheese and releases opiates called casomorphins. Casomorphins really play with the dopamine receptors and trigger that addictive element.

This study, published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine, examines why certain foods are more addictive than others. Researchers identified addictive foods from about 500 students who completed the Yale Food Addiction Scale, designed to measure if someone has a food addiction.

And who topped the list? Any guesses? Yes, pizza! The top reason is that it's processed, and the second reason is that it's packed with fattening cheese. The study's authors predict that the higher the fat content in a food, the more addictive it is, regardless of whether you have a tendency to binge.
