Naxalites struck again in Jharkhand killing two RJD leaders, blowing up railway tracks and setting ablaze six commercial vehicles, as two Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) ultras were shot dead on Monday in an encounter with the police, officials said. Two RJD leaders identified as Riyaz Khan and Jogeshwar Yadav were shot dead by the MCC, while another partyman Kuldip Thakur was seriously wounded at Makaiatand village of Latehar district, the officials said. The victims were once active members of Krantikari Kisan Samiti, an overground frontal organisation of the banned MCC, they said. In Palamau district, People's War Group (PWG) guerrillas, blew up railway tracks and set ablaze six commercial vehicles in the early hours, the officials said.
The tracks were blasted between Karkatta and Untari stations leading to suspension of railway traffic on Garhwa Road--Dehri-on-Sone section of Mughalsarai division of Eastern Railway. Bureau Report
