52 Delhi-bound trains delayed, 12 rescheduled due to fog

New Delhi: With dense fog conditions prevailing in many parts of north India on Saturday, 52 Delhi-bound trains were delayed.

12 other trains were rescheduled due to thick blanket of fog covering Moradabad, Lucknow and parts of Punjab and Haryana.

Fog, cold wave conditions continue to prevail in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow and Moradabad area.

The minimum temperatures very likely to be normal and above normal over most parts of northwest, west and northeast India during next 2 weeks. These will be normal or below normal over rest parts of the country.

The Meteorological Department has forecast mainly dry weather in the state over the week ahead, which could lead to further drop in the night temperature.
