“There are five states which are going to elections soon. BJP will face defeat in all five,” Pawar said.

The veteran politician also spoke on the controversy surrounding the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

“There are hardly 2% Maoist sympathisers in JNU. The panel which defeated ABVP (in student body polls) is now branded anti-national and jailed,” said Pawar.

“No one supports the posters which were anti-India, police should investigate the matter. It's a complex issue,” he added.
