In what could be said to be a major security lapse, the body was undetected by security agencies for more than 12 hours.

The body was discovered yesterday morning by a CISF officer.

Udyog Bhawan houses government ministries. It is guarded by the CISF.

Supriyo, who is BJP MP from West Bengal, is Union Minister of State for Urban Development.

Reports said that the man was identified as Vinod Khanduri and had been working for the minister for some months.

He supposedly stayed with his family in Laxmi Nagar.

Reports also said that the driver's family had approached the police on Tuesday evening as he was not taking their calls on his mobile.

A missing person's complaint was registered at Tughlaq Road police station of New Delhi district after the complaint of the family.

Though the post-mortem report is yet to come, which will reveal the exact cause of his death, certain reports said that as of now prima facie it appeared to be a case of natural death.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said that they would share the right information at the right time regarding the case.
