Earthquake hits Assam; mild tremors felt in various parts of the state including Guwahati, Nagaon

Guwahati: Tremors were felt in various parts of Assam as earthquake hit the state on Sunday, media reports said.

The quake hit the state around 4 PM.

The magnitude of the reported earthquake was 4.3 on Richter scale.

Reportedly, panic gripped a number of residents as tremors were felt in various districts including Guwahati and Nagaon.
