Flouting of reservation norms by Universities: SC notice to UGC

The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to University Grant Commission (UGC) over the petition that the Universities were not reserving vacancies for disabled candidates. 

The apex court was hearing a petition alleging that the Universities were not providing reservations to the disabled candidates as per the law.
