Bhopal: Have you ever heard of 600% hike? That too in pension!

In a whopping hike, Madhya Pradesh government has increased the ex-CMs' pension by over 600%!

The pension has been increased almost seven times from Rs 26,000 to Rs 1.70 lakh per month, according to a report in CNN-News18.

Currently, the Madhya Pradesh CM - Shivraj Singh Chouhan - draws Rs 2 lakh per month.

This pension of Rs 1.7 lakh will not be given if a former chief minister of MP occupies a position in the Union or the State Cabinet.
