Howrah shocker: Girl jumps from 2nd floor to escape rape by her boyfriend and his friends

Kolkata: In yet another incident of crime against women, a girl jumped off the second floor of a building in Howrah district of West Bengal to escape rape.

Fortunately, she survived the jump. She was injured and was immediately hospitalised.

Reportedly, the girl was called her boyfriend and two of his friends to their place when they tried to rape her after spiking her drink.

She began screaming as they tried to corner her following which she jumped off the building and the neighbours helped her.

All the three men have been arrested.
