Indrani`s ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna confesses to police he was involved in Sheena`s murder
Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria on late Friday evening confirmed that the third accused - Indrani Mukerjea`s ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna - in the Sheena Bora murder case, has confessed to his complicity in the crime.

Shortly after interrogating all the three key accused in the Sheena Bora murder case (Sanjeev Khanna, Indrani Mukerjea and her driver) at Khar police station here, Mumbai Police Chief said, “This morning we have recovered skeletal remains of deceased Sheena Bora.”
While addressing the press, he further said, “We have also recovered Sheena Bora's passport from Dehradun, this would negate the theory that she went to the US.”
Revealing an interesting angle of this high-profile case, the Mumbai Police Commissioner said, “We’ve just interrogated the third accused (Sanjeev Khanna), he has confessed to his complicity in the crime, further probe going on.”
Maria further said that, police teams have gone to other parts of the country for investigation and they have got the remand of the third accused up to August 31 and further investigations are on.
“We have recovered the skeletal remains today, tomorrow we shall be dispatching for the DNA test,” he added.
Rakesh Maria further said, “We have also questioned Mikhail Bora, he has given us some points which will be verified.”
Sheena's brother Mikhail Bora was also present at the joint interrogation along with the key accused.
Indrani Mukerjea and her driver were brought to Khar police station in connection with the April 2012 Sheena Bora murder case.
Earlier, Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria interrogated both Sanjeev Khanna and Mikhail Bora in the city's Khar police station.
Khanna is the second husband of Indrani Mukherjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case.
