New Delhi: The leaders of the merged Janata Parivar are likely to come together for a meeting which may be held on April 15 in Delhi, as per news reports on Monday.

Talking about the merger, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday reiterated that it is “happening”.


According to reports, the leaders of the six political parties have approved the draft document of the Janata Parivar merger, which is currently in process.


Janata Parivar merger includes six political parties - Samajwadi Party, RJD, JD(U), INLD, Samajwadi Janata Party and JD(S).


Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also said that the merger of the parties was on the way but no formal announcement date was set yet.
