New Delhi: Two nominated MPs from the Anglo-Indian community today met BJP chief Amit Shah and emphasised that minorities feel "safe" in the Narendra Modi government.

Actor and politician George Baker of West Bengal and educationist and social activist Richard Hey of Kerala expressed their confidence in the BJP's agenda of development, BJP said in a statement.


Hey said, "We feel that the minorities are absolutely safe under leadership of Modi who is launching many projects for their all round development."
Shah assured every possible help to Baker and Hey for their development works, it said.
