Dehradun: India will carry out more cross-border surgical strikes if its security is challenged, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Saturday, stepping up the attack on Pakistan.

He said, “Missions like the Thursday's surgical strikes on terror camps could be done again if the security of the country was challenged or jeopardised.”


"Anyone who casts an evil eye on the country would not be spared," Parrikar said in his first statement after the Army raided terror launchpads in PoK.


Speaking at a function here to unveil a statue of local hero Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, he said Pakistan went into a comatose condition after the strikes.


"Pakistan is like a patient who has been put under anaesthesia before an operation," he said as people clapped in agreement.
