PM Modi greets Venezuela on their Independence Day

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished the people of Venezuela on their Independence Day.

The official twitter account of the Prime Minister`s Office shared his message. "On Venezuela`s Independence Day, my greetings & best wishes to the people of Venezuela: PM @narendramodi," it posted.

"Strong ties between India & Venezuela will be advantageous to both our Nations. Looking forward to deeper cooperation with Venezuela: PM," it added.

Venezuela observes its Independence Day on July 5, in commemoration of the country`s Declaration of Independence adopted in 1811, through which the people of the region decided to separate from the Spanish Crown.
