Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host lunch for Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, during their visit to India, as per media reports.

They will be on a week-long tour of India and Bhutan starting in Mumbai on April 10 and finishing with a visit to the Taj Mahal on April 16. 


Apart from PM Modi, they will also be welcomed by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi.


During his visit to United Kingdom in November, PM Modi had lunch with the Queen in Buckingham Palace.


While in India, William and Kate at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai and will be introduced to some of the biggest names in business and Bollywood at a grand dinner in the Taj’s Crystal Room, as per media reports.


They will be back in the UK before the Queen’s 90th birthday on April 21 and in time to celebrate Princess Charlotte’s first birthday on May 2.
