After the meeting that is scheduled for 6:30 pm, the Prime Minister will also host a dinner for his cabinet colleagues.

While the interaction is being dubbed as routine, the meeting of the entire cabinet is rare. The PM is expected to seek feedback and give instructions wherever needed to improve governance.

The PM had met junior ministers of his team in March, wherein he had sought inputs from them.

Also, the Bihar debacle may come for discussion during the meeting as the loss has put a question mark on the impact of pro-people schemes launched by the Modi government.
