Delhi: In a statement which will infuriate the Indian authorities, Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed has said that India has failed to provide any evidence of his involvement in Mumbai attacks and neither will they ever be able to do so.

Hafiz is heard saying in a video, "They did not say anything, I will reply to Sushma. Its been seven years since Mumbai attacks. You could never prove anything. You will not be able to prove anything till judgement day."



The JuD chief is said to be the mastermind of 2008 Mumbai attacks that killed 166 people.


He founded the LeT whose operatives carried out the terror attack.


Earlier also, had slammed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif meeting his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi during the Paris climate change conference.


As per reports he had said at a seminar at the Lahore High Court on December 2 that Sharif should not have met with Modi and exchanged smiles with him in Paris.


He had stated that the act had hurt the sentiments of the Kashmiri Muslims.


India has been for long providing evidence to Pakistan of Saeed's complicity in Mumbai attacks and asking them to take action against him.


Breaking the logjam in their ties, India and Pakistan had on December 09 announced that they had decided to engage in a "comprehensive" dialogue that will include peace and security and Jammu and Kashmir.


Pakistan assured India of "steps being taken to expedite the early conclusion" of the Mumbai attack trial, something that India has been pressing for long, as per PTI.


The National Security Advisors (NSAs) of India and Pakistan who had recently met in Bangkok, would continue to address all issues connected to terrorism, according to a joint statement issued by the two countries.
