Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday targeted PM Narendra Modi over surgical strikes.
New Delhi: In a full-blown attack, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday targeted PM Narendra Modi over surgical strikes by Indian Army in Pakistan's territory.
Rahul Gandhi has accused PM Narendra Modi of doing 'khoon ki dalali'.
"Hamare jawan hain jinho ne khoon diya hai, jinho ne surgical strike kiya, unke khoon ke peeche aap (PM) chhupe huye ho (you are hiding behind the blood of our jawans who conducted surgical strikes)," Rahul Gandhi accused PM Narendra Modi.
"Unki (jawans) aap (PM) dalali kar rahe ho," Rahul Gandhi added.
"Aapne 2 cheezeein zarur ki hain, ek Hindustani ko dusre se ladane ka kaam kia, baantne ka kaam kia hai," Rahul Gandhi added in his accusations against PM Narendra Modi and called him a divisive figure.
"Ye desh Modi ji se insaaf chata hai, aur ye unki zimmedari hai. Kahan hai 15 lakh, kaha hai unke saare vaade (this nation wants justice from PM Modi; it's PM responsibility. Where are Rs 15 lakh, and all those promised made by PM)," Rahul Gandhi asked.
Gandhi was addressing a rally in the national capital, marking the culmination of his month-long 'Deoria to Delhi kisan yatra' in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier, Rahul had congratulated PM Modi for surgical strikes.
The Congress VP's comment came two days after another party leader Sanjay Nirupam had called the surgical strikes by Indian Army as fake asking for proof of the action by forces.
