Giridih: You may not believe it this but this rare incident really happened at an examination centre in Jharkhand!

In a surprising incident, a student gave birth to a baby boy at an examination centre.

The incident took place in Jharkhand's Giridih district, according to a report in Hindustan Times.

Bharti Kumari was appearing for the 3rd year BA examination at a college, approximately 25 kms from her home. The 21-year-old woman is a student of Adarah College in Dhanwar.

According to college authorities, it was all fine when she reached the centre. However, within half-an-hour, she went into labour.

College officials called a medical team but by the time they could reach the college, Kumari had delivered her baby.

Both the mother and child are safe.
